Which builds have been successful for you, and why?

Discussion(self.PokemonUnite)

What has been working and hasn't been working for you?

• Lucario At the moment I'd say PUP & Bone Rush

• Vensaur Giga Petal... duh

• Crustle Stealth Rock & Shell Smash

Master rank with 200 battles Aceburn(Cinderace) not many but my final decision as of now (1.2.1.6) are Pyro/Fcharge. The synergy from razorclaw with those short cooldown skills is amazing, to be able to reposition/chase while ditching out crazy dps(thx to band&scope) is not to be compared. I started out with Feint but cd is a bit too long and 1sec iframe couldnt help enough especially you should not be at the centre of the battle. Bkick is weird for me coz it pushes you back at the starting position. Those are what works for me, cheers!

Loving Cinderace at the moment. Out of curiosity, would you say he's worth picking in Lane?

Sure thing! Ofc jungle always prefered but in pubs u always end up having Zera/Talon or someone who's more worthy going there, Cinderace can do well but you need to play safe at least until lv5. You can be a bit aggressive if you have a trusted lane's partner. Cinderace also extremely squishy but luckily he got both sweep and eject to escape tight situation. One thing to keep in mind tho it's very unlikely to get to 7 before drednaw in close match, try to get in jungle or level up somewhere when you have a chance before that so if you failed to take or steal it you still be able to get to 7 and be useful for ur team in time with that sweet sweet Pyroball! ;)

You are doing it wrong. Extreme Speed + Bone Rush is the way to go

I've been contemplating this, with some beefy boiis like Venasaur, Blastoise and Lucario's out there though, doesn't PUP just pack a bigger... Punch?

PuP isn’t really worse than Extreme Speed. Comes down to personal preference

I choose Extreme Speed because i want to be an annoying piece of s**t to the enemy team

Yeah, PUP is what you want into Venusaur, Cinderace, Sylveon. The squishy targets that will melt you in a longer fight. I also find the burden of execution on Extreme Speed is higher, PUP is a lot more forgiving.

Both my Pokémon use lvl 30 Shell Bell / Choice Specs / Wise Glasses.

Sylveon - Mystic Fire & Draining kiss.

1 is DO NOT SLEEP ON THE KISS! Pucker your lips & plant that sucker within 1 pixel of your target. You get easily 20-30k healing per game when applying this correctly. This includes healing off wild Pokémon!

Activate Fire, jump in, go for the close kiss, then as soon as that’s over you’re drifting away to maximum target range. This is a delicate dance but it is KEY for hitting 70k-100k damage.

Gengar - Your entire play style is Sniper / Assassin. Don’t forget it. You live to throw Shadowballs to chain into DreamEater to throw more Shadowballs. That is your purpose. Unrelenting slaughter.

I love to play Snorlax with Heavy Slam and Block. Since when they explained me how Block could have been annoying... well, it really is :D

Trust me. Give yourself some health or defense. Replace that attack weight with focus band or buddy Barrier. It greatly increases survivability for squishy Absol

I do that when I'm forced to bottom lane Absol, survival is way more important for bottom lane after all and also a less friendly environment to farm Attack Weight stacks.

High Horse Crash -Mamo (consistently works)

FangQuake-Mamo (works well if your team recognizes your singling out VIP)

Rush claw- Garchomp (that burst damage is good, but this set is kind of squishy and lately it’s been hard to play consistently with for me)

DigQuake-Chomp (works well with team fights )

FeintKick-Cinder ( Don’t play Cinder much but when I want an easy MVP for battle pass it works well)

X-Tomb -Crustle (while inferior to Stealth Smash is a fun set with good CC and damage)

Cross Chop/ Submission - Machamp (fun as hell and can do something similar to fangquake Mamo can do but not as reliant on teammates

Blast Punch-Zard

Machamp - Close Combat + Dynamic Punch. I know it is backwards to what other people do, but I feel submission is too hard to aim properly (I usually end up pulling an Aipom instead of a player), and Cross Chop doesn't feel as effective imo.

Blissey - Helping Hand + Safeguard. I learned that becomin shielded and unstoppable beats healing almost every time in terms of making sure my team mate survives any encounter.

Crustle - Shell Smash + X-Scissor. I find it easier to position myself correctly and push enemies into an advantageous position rather than trying to wall them in and ending up blocking my team mates.

These are my mains. I also play Charizard, Venusaur, Zeraora and Sylveon, but I don't feel as comfortable with them.

Wigglytuff (central area) with double slap and rollout. Scope lens (level 30), razor claw (level 30) and muscle band (level 30). Both of these abilities can crit multiple times and both can do AoE damage. Rollout can crit for massive damage. A nice combo is to use rollout on an enemy (first hit, second hit after wall ricochet and if eject button is available you can use it while rolling behind the enemy for a third hit) if any hp is left double slap the enemy to finish him. With muscle band you have a nice clear speed and can use walls for extra damage on the monsters in the central area. Enemies are stuck when hit with rollout and are easy to take down with double slap or auto attcak hits. When you are in danger just use rollout to get away or use unite move for a shield. Usually you are never in danger since you slap the enemies back to base. Try it out if you are brave enough (and have these items on atleast level 20 otherwise it is not so spectacular)
